Bar Build — Social Garden Hub

This commissioned piece is a custom outdoor bar designed for a client who loves hosting garden parties and BBQs. They wanted a space where guests could relax and talk together — and where the host could be part of the conversation instead of standing off to the side serving drinks all night.

Because we had a generous space to work with, the project became an exploration in spatial and behavioural design. The bar is designed as a central gathering point: guests can sit around it, face each other, and naturally start conversations. Instead of just being a functional object, it becomes the heart of the garden — a place to gather, connect, and enjoy time together. Designing, testing and building this project myself allowed me to refine skills in woodworking, prototyping, testing and problem solving
